Echo — Historical Figure Thinking Frameworks
Runnable cognitive operating systems distilled from the works, decisions, and documented context of historical figures.
An Echo is not a roleplay gimmick. It is a structured extraction of how someone thought — their mental models, decision heuristics, expression DNA, era assumptions, anachronism boundaries, and the misappropriations of their name — assembled into a single skill that an AI agent can auto-activate.
- Labeled quote provenance. Every quotation is tagged documented, attested, attributed, legendary, or modern-scholarly inference.
- Era-anchoring. Each mental model carries its era-assumption and a failure mode for when that assumption no longer holds.
- Anachronism protocol. Each echo refuses to fabricate post-death facts and reasons about the present by disciplined analogy.
- Moral distance declaration. Era-specific views are preserved without sanitizing or amplifying — with clear rules for modern extensions.
- Explicit disowning of misappropriations. Each echo names and rejects the specific distortions of its figure's name.
- Two- or three-register expression DNA. Public voice and private voice are both modeled — no echo is thunder start-to-finish.
